Performance Features of the 2023 Toyota Tacoma
In contrast to comparable mid-size pickups like the Chevrolet Colorado or Ford Ranger, the Toyota Tacoma outsells the company’s full-size pickup truck. This year, the third-generation Taco turns eight, and while customers have come to adore this top-selling mid-sizer, its basic features are beginning to show signs of wear. While a 278-hp V-6 is available with a six-speed manual transmission, a weak 159-hp inline-four engine is standard. The only two pickup trucks offered for sale in the US are the Jeep Gladiator and the Toyota Tacoma. Although it can tow more weight than the Nissan Frontier, the capable Tacoma is held by its seating and fuel efficiency.
